ICHRIE has taken on the responsibility to help connect academia and industry in a way that supports collaboration, innovation, responsible change, and continual growth. Creating the IAC is our largest effort on bridging the gap between industry and academia. By appointment from ICHRIE President, Dr. Ralf Burbach, Head of Hospitality Discipline, TU Dublin, ICHRIE welcomes the first ICHRIE Industry Advisory Council (IAC) in our 75-year history.
The core foundational group will begin the work within ICHRIE’s mission, terms, and values, as well as specific objectives and priorities, to formulate recommendations on diversity, representation, membership, structure, and operations, as well as, on collaboration, research, talent acquisition, faculty externships, student internships, professional development, and curriculum.
